Our Story
The adventure started in 2018 when Zenyum was founded in Singapore. We have quickly grown to become one of Asia’s largest consumer brands in the making, establishing our presence in nine markets across Asia. At Zenyum, we channel tech and innovation to transform the dental category from an everyday routine to an exciting ritual. Our expanding range of Smile Cosmetics allows everyone to experience the joys of a healthier and confident smile.

Our smile journey begins
Welcome to Day 1! Our founders created Zenyum with a vision of bringing more affordable and accessible oral care solutions to Asia. We began by introducing Zenyum Invisible Braces to consumers, as well as partner dentists.
Sustaining our growth with investors
Onward and upward! To fuel our expansion, we raised US$13.6 million in Series A funding from RTP Global, Sequoia India, TNB Aura, and Enterprise Singapore’s Seeds Capital, among other investors. Our growth in Asia started with us branching into Malaysia.
ZenyumSonic™ launches a big new product category
With a growing demand for power brushes in the region, what started as an experiment soon became a booming consumer product category. ZenyumSonic™ was launched! A sonic powered toothbrush with 33,000 vibrations per minute for a deeper clean. In the same year, we entered more dynamic markets like Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Securing Series B funding and new product launches
We secured US$40 million Series B funding from
L Catterton, the largest global consumer-focused private equity firm, backed by LVMH. We also launched a suite of new Smile Cosmetics including ZenyumFresh™ Toothpastes Day! & Night, ZenyumFresh™ Breath Shield and ZenyumFresh™ Floss Picks. The smiles just keep on coming!
Garnering industry acclaim and launching more next-level products
We won various product and partner excellence awards from Shopee and Guardian, while making it to LinkedIn’s 2022 Top Startups List for the third consecutive year. We also ushered in plenty more product launches including Zenyum Waterflosser Pro, ZenyumSonic™ Go and ZenyumBright™ Invisible Whitening Strips.
