1. How will my dentist know I’m suitable for invisible braces?
Before any dentist can decide if you’re suitable for invisible braces, they’ll need to know what kind of bite you have as well as if you have any underlying oral issues.
Zenyum streamlines your suitability for our Invisible Braces by providing you a free online assessment. All you need to do is answer 4 basic questions about your teeth and snap some teeth pics so our panel of dentists can see if you’re eligible for Zenyum Invisible Braces.
Once you’re eligible, you’ll have your first dental consultation where our partnered dentist will take an X-ray and 3D-scan. This is done to check for any pre-existing gum or teeth conditions which may impede your treatment or possibly worsen during teeth-straightening!
Getting your teeth straightened may sound reasonably simple. But it is a process that has long-term effects.
2. Are my clinic and dentist licensed?
It goes without saying that any procedure involving healthcare needs a licensed clinic. They’ll need to thoroughly conduct X-rays and have strict sterilisation procedures that uphold the highest standards of hygiene.
This involves multiple rounds – including a final round of steam sterilisation to remove bacterial spores.
Since getting invisible braces is a process involving your mouth and health, make sure that your scans, X-rays, and even fittings are conducted in a certified sterile environment.
3. What happens if I’m not satisfied with my smile?
We are dedicated to helping you not only Smile More, but also by bringing out your best smile. By the end of your Zenyum treatment, we make it a point to thoroughly review your end result with the proposed treatment plan you agreed to at the start your journey.
If the results are not as per plan, we will continue to provide you with additional invisible aligners at absolutely no cost, until you can confidently break into the smile that you want!
4. What happens if my braces accidentally break?
Although your invisible braces are made of durable plastic, cracks can form if you’re prone to grinding your teeth together. Still, a broken aligner can disrupt your treatment schedule.
While it might be cause for alarm, a broken aligner set isn’t the end of the world.
The first thing you should do is to contact our super helpful Customer Care team through the Zenyum App. Based on your specific treatment, they will be able to advise if your aligner set will be replaced or if you can proceed to wearing a different set for a longer period of time.
5. What happens if my teeth aren’t tracking properly during treatment?
The only time you shouldn’t be wearing your invisible braces is when you’re eating or drinking anything other than water. Otherwise, the aligners should be worn 20 to 22 hours a day to ensure your teeth are moving accordingly!
Once you begin your smile journey with Zenyum, you would be logging in your aligner-wearing progress on our Zenyum app. Here you would be snapping and uploading teeth pics every 10 days as we want your smile journey to be fuss-free and still be professionally supervised.
With sufficient aligner wear time, your aligners will begin to feel loose and you’ll receive a reminder to switch to a new set!
Of course, if your teeth are still not tracking properly, the first thing you should do is to contact our Customer Care team just in case your aligners were not fitted correctly.
Ask the right questions, and you’ll dazzle with your smile in no time
It may sound obvious, but when it comes to picking the right invisible braces provider, the most important thing you can do is ask the right questions.
That’s how you know you’re getting the very best without any unexpected hiccups along the way.
