Singapore has eased restrictions with indoor masks off in most settings which means it is time to get our smiles back on! | Zenyum SG

9 September 2022

On 29 August, Singapore began stepping further into life before Covid-19 by ending most rules of masks indoors. We no longer have to wear masks outdoors and indoors except for public transport and healthcare facilities.

Do you know what exactly this means for us? It is time to get our best smiles on.

What have we missed out on?

We’ve all mastered how to smile with our eyes ever since we started wearing masks but soon realised how important showing our facial expressions were. We could no longer mouth sentences to our friends sitting across from us or casually smile at someone that we were walking past.

I mean there were some perks to keeping your mask on like…

  • Secretly yawning
  • Singing along to your music
  • Having uncontrolled mouth movements when you were concentrating

(all this without anyone knowing)

The list could go on but honestly, nothing beats being able to share your smile and make a good first impression while at it.

First impressions count!
