Welcome to Day 1! Our founders created Zenyum with a vision of bringing more affordable and accessible oral care solutions to Asia. We began by introducing Zenyum Invisible Braces to consumers, as well as partner dentists.

Our smile journey begins

Onward and upward! To fuel our expansion, we raised US$13.6 million in Series A funding from RTP Global, Sequoia India, TNB Aura, and Enterprise Singapore’s Seeds Capital, among other investors. Our growth in Asia started with us branching into Malaysia.

Sustaining our growth with investors

With a growing demand for power brushes in the region, what started as an experiment soon became a booming consumer product category. ZenyumSonic™ was launched! A sonic powered toothbrush with 33,000 vibrations per minute for a deeper clean. In the same year, we entered more dynamic markets like Hong Kong and Taiwan.

ZenyumSonic™ launches a big new product category

We secured US$40 million Series B funding from L Catterton, the largest global consumer-focused private equity firm, backed by LVMH. We also launched a suite of new Smile Cosmetics including ZenyumFresh™ Toothpastes Day! & Night, ZenyumFresh™ Breath Shield and ZenyumFresh™ Floss Picks. The smiles just keep on coming!

Securing Series B funding and new product launches

We won various product and partner excellence awards from Shopee and Guardian, while making it to LinkedIn’s 2022 Top Startups List for the third consecutive year. Working closely with our expert partners, Zenyum can now treat a wide range of mild to complex cases. 

Attachments are small, temporary, tooth-coloured “anchors” bonded to specific positions on your teeth. They support a snug aligner fit for more precise movements and effective results. They will be removed at end of treatment.

Treatment duration shown is based on a wear time of 10 days for each aligner set.

Within 4-6 weeks, you'll get your custom-printed invisible braces. If you need refinements during your journey, you’ll need a teeth rescan.

(This will cost $300, as it's not part of your ZenyumClear Journey). Retainer scans at $100 (before GST) may be required for a better retainer fit.)

During this time, the dentist will take X-rays as well as a 3D scan or physical impressions of your teeth. As they get to know your smile better, they’ll also address any questions or concerns you may have.

About 6 – 10 minutes will be spent taking X-rays, which are necessary to identify any dental issues to be resolved pre-treatment. Otherwise, these issues can worsen and even lead to tooth loss.

Now you get very valuable time with your date, the dentist—this is when you get to ask questions and express any concerns.

To more effectively treat your dental conditions and develop your treatment plan, the dentist will spend the next 6 – 8 minutes taking a 3D scan or physical impressions of your teeth.

At this point, you only have to pay for the dental consultation, which includes the X-ray and the 3D scan. For any additional dental work that is not associated with your aligner assessment (such as scaling and polishing), there may be extra costs.

Clinic Selection

This is so that you have enough time to complete your check-in and reduce the risk of delaying your date with the dentist.

Go jewellery-free, as metal jewellery can lead to poor imaging during your X-ray. Also, clinics are kept cool to protect the dental equipment, so do bring a sweater or shawl to keep yourself warm.

At the clinic, you’ll be required to check in and take your temperature before the appointment. Do stay home and rest if you are unwell.

When you arrive, proceed to the reception and let them know you are there for your Zenyum consultation.

You will then receive a Consent Form after you check in into the clinic. This legal document protects you as it ensures an ongoing communication process.<a href>View consent form</a>
